This is the first labyrinth I ever met. It was on the community we lived on in Kuitpo Forest in S.A. And it was created by a resident who laid it out with river pebbles, which you can just see in this picture.
Me and Currawong are walking the labyrinth as a walking meditation here, during the birthing of our son Balthazar, who went on to become a caesarean. But walking at this time helped so much, not least in keeping me calm.
And it was the beginning of my two decade research into and obsession with labyrinths, eventually finding that they play a strong role in my ancestral time lines.....
